The second part of the BegeFa Research at TUM startet with a focus on adaptive reuse strategies and collaborative housing initiatives. The empirical research combines spatial and social research and is funded by the BBSR, the GLS Treuhand Stiftung Öko-Sozial, the TRIAS foundation, and the CRSE at TUM. Isabel Glogar is project leader (PI) of the second part of the project with a focus on building strategies and organisations and stakeholders involved in the transformation processes. The project is anylzing three selected Case Studies with a focus on collaborative housing, adaptive reuse in architecture and conversion of three building typologies into housing. Further, the research presents how buildings and areas are used and converted to mixedused buildings and activated for longterm affordable housing.
